Abstract

There is proposed to determine falling weight impact strength of thermoplastic pipes according to standards LVS EN ISO 3127:2018 – “Thermoplastics pipes. Determination of resistance to external blows. Round-the-clock method” and LVS EN ISO 11173:2018 – “Thermoplastics pipes. Determination of resistance to external blows. Staircase method”.

Description of the technology

Determination of falling weight impact strength of thermoplastic pipes at room and subzero temperatures (up to pipe external diameters 140 mm).

Applications Determination of falling weight impact strength of thermoplastic pipes according to Staircase method or Round-the-clock method.
Advantages

We offer to perform testing in the RTU Polymer Materials Testing Laboratory, which is accredited according to LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025, hereby confirming ability of the laboratory to produce precise and accurate test data.
