The present invention relates to the mechanical engineering industry, in particular, to the equipment and systems for testing friction and resistance to abrasion of materials. An equipment that allows to extend the functionality of friction machines by imitating tribological tests closer to the actual working conditions of friction nodes is provided. Said equipment contains an actuator with a horizontal rotary disc (4), a device (7) for fixing a sample (6) to the indenter, a loading device with a load regulation mechanism. The rotary disc (4) is placed in an operational chamber (5) which is divided into two cavities, wherein there is a heater (9) placed in the upper cavity and a cooler (8) placed in the lower cavity under the disc (4). It’s possible to fix exchangeable counterbody plates (12) onto the surface of disc (4) by using a changeable profile. It’s possible to change the rotation rate and pressure load by using control system and to move the indenter in vertical direction by changing the linear speed. The temperature in the chamber (5) is adjustable in the range of –30 to +50 °C. The device (7) with indenter for fixing the samples (6) located above the disc (4) can be supplemented with a pulsed electromagnet which atjusts the pulse load on the sample (6).
