Optimisation of Power System
2007
Jānis Gerhards, Anatolijs Mahņitko

The book developed the mathematical programming questions power optimization challenges, which is already known mathematical model. These are tasks such as: electric grid development and reconstruction of power supply sources with an optimal choice of the industrial plant power loss minimization of certain company-operated power equipment and transformer substation capacity. The emphasis is on linear programming optimization tasks, solving the geometric interpretation of the resolution and the main analytical method - simpleksmethod. Addressed in a linear order, known as transport tasks, solving principles. Based on the electricity grid, the optimal configuration of choice tasks, in accordance with accepted tolerances The book may serve as a textbook for the power engineering students and doctoral students, as well as engineers, can also be used for energy company specialists who are interested in the functioning of the optimization issues in accordance with preferred management criteria.
