Impact Vibration Absorber of Pendulum Type

In this paper the impact vibration absorber of pendulum type is examined using numerical simulation. Pendulum vibration absorbers are widely used in practice. It consists of pendulum impact mass with motion limiting stops attached to the vibrating system. Pendulum mass can decrease of resonance amplitude of vibration system due to mutually impact interaction The influence of impact mass parameters on the possibility of attenuation of vibrations of the basic system under harmonic excitation is discussed.
