Pāvels Patļins, Nikolajs Sprancmanis

Production distribution planning for cities is a sophisticated process due to loading of city’s roads. Cities traffic congestions are not constant; they may change on the particular hours or week’s days. So, it is impossible to use usual mathematic methods for route planning. Article’s authors recommend using microelements method for intensive traffic conditions – to divide the total routing process into microelements. Own transport or commercial transport optimal choose problem is analyzed in the article as well. Recommended to divide distribution territory into two sections depending on the concentration of customers’ amount at a particular distance from the distribution place. Authors of paper advice to investigate distribution process service quality as well as distribution costs to define customers served by own transport.
