Abstract In last years there is a tendency to investigate various organic compounds as materials for potential applications in optics, photonics and optoelectronics.In this work we present glassy isophorone fragment containing organic compounds IWK-1M, IWK-1D, IWK-2M and IWK-2D, which have been obtained in "one pot" synthesis providing their simple preparation. Obtained compounds could be useful for OLED and holographic information storage.
