            In this work there are described a general topology optimization technique that is based on the idea of optimization of elastic properties of material. There are shown the algorithm of this method that are useful in case of plate or shell structure with discrete varying stiffness optimization. Same practical cases are analyzed by proposed methodology the plate and shell structures and obtained its rational macro-structure
