Change of Phase Composition of Magnetic Fluid Nanoparticles after HGMS
8th PAMIR International Conference on Fundamental and Applied MHD: Conference Proceedings 2011
Gunars Kronkalns, Mikhail Maiorov, Māris Kodols

Iron oxide nanoparticle structure, composition and magnetic properties are investigated as a function of synthesis technology and different methods of separation in magnetic fluids. The structure and size of magnetic nanoparticles are investigated using X-ray diffractometer and transmition electron microscope. The magnetic properties are measured with a vibration sample magnetometer.
