Due to several advantages zero-Portland cement based
binders called geopolymers starts to play an important role in
the society of scientists and engineers. Scientists and “green
thinking” engineers have focused their attention on developing
of non-limestone based cement, which does not require the use
of fossil fuel to heat large kilns. Geopolymer concrete cements
(GPC) are inorganic polymer composites, which are
prospective concretes with the potential to form a substantial
element of an environmentally sustainable construction by
replacing/supplementing the conventional concretes.
