A significant part of solar collectors absorbed energy is consumed as heat losses. A dynamic modelling program with real meteorological data was used for heat losses determination in separate components of a solar thermal system (STS). Dependences of heat losses quantity from conductivity coefficients of solar collector, pipeline and tank insulation were determined according operation of the solar collectors in the whole STS in Baltic country regions. Obtained regularities allow to determine STS productivity and energy saving more precisely in Baltic country regions.
