Novel and simple two step catalytic method for the preparation of novel five- and sixcyclic heterocyclic systems containing thiazole, imidazole and oxepine rings from 3- chloromethylbenzo[4,5]imidazo[2,1-b]thiazole and o-bromobenzyl alcohols or 2-bromo-3- hydroxymethylpyridine was described.
