Linda Busmane, Daina Kalniņa

The most hazardous chemicals in the water environment are those that combine persistance with biological availability and reactivity. Persistent organic pollutants (POP)s have a number of specific properties: toxicity, persistence, bioaccumulation, volatility and the potential for long-range environmental travel. The information collection have been made about polyaromatic hydrocarbons emission and data processing. The experiments have been made and the results about increase of PAHs solubility in the presence of washing agents obtained.
