β-Amino alcohol derivatives constitute class of versatile intermediates in modern organic synthesis. We report here a scalable synthesis of two diastereoisomeric series of oxazolidinone-carbohydrate conjugates with spiro-junction and preliminary studies of their use as chiral auxiliaries.
