Spatial Modeling of the Processes of Spreading of Emissions from Thermal Plants and Boiler Houses
2013
Anna Gnatyuk, Boris Staroverov

Geographic information systems allow to solve the complex and multifactorial tasks in creating models of pollution of the air basin from the pipes of thermal power plants and boilerhouses. They make it possible to collect and process together table, textual and cartographic data. GIS analyzes and visualizes the results of modeling. Automation of information processing and analysis led to the adoption of effective administrative decisions in the shortest possible time.

Keywords
