Analysis of the literature data about electrochemical water desinfection shows that the main advantage of this metod compared to the traditional chlorination of water is that it can work without addition of chemical compounds to the water to be treated which detetermine the efficiency of disinfection. The efficiency of disinfection largely depends on the materials used in electrodes. Recent researches show that Ceramic material of Titanium Oxides is a very perspective electrodes material for water electrolysis.
