The paper presents the concept map based intelligent knowledge assessment system intended for systematic knowledge assessment. It focuses on the use of concept maps as a tool for extended support of intelligent knowledge assessment through variety of tasks offered, possibilities to extract parameters of the student model, and rich student’s support. The paper describes main functional mechanisms of the system and specifies implemented intelligent, adaptive, and adaptable features
