Manuals on Inorganic and Physical Chemistry for the Students of the Latvian University (1919-1944)
2013
Ilgvars Grosvalds, Uldis Alksnis

With the foundation of the national higher education establishment – the Latvian University – in 1919, there was an urgent need for manuals in Latvian. Already during the first decade manuals were written on inorganic, organic and colloidal chemistry, as well as practical works in inorganic chemistry. Lectures on physical chemistry in Latvian were published only in 1943, but practical works in 1931.
