The aim of this work was to create a detailed human mandibular and dentition model. The model was digitally reconstructed from a case study of a mechanically sectioned representative of a dry human mandible with teeth. The reasonable discretisation level of the 3D model was established with respect to both the current desktop PC computing capabilities and the complexity of particular problem solved during computer simulations.
