Assessment of the Economic Effect of Latvia's Accession to the European Union

For Latvia joined the European Union (EU) , have opened opportunities in international markets. The purpose of the article - to investigate the influence of international integration processes on the development of the Latvian economy. The article compared the various indicators of the economy before and after joining the EU . Latvia's accession to the EU has increased the subsidies received from the European budget , eliminated the last barriers to trade , attracted foreign capital , reduce unemployment caused by labor migration to the EU, but also caused a rise in prices and increase in purchasing power of the population .
