Specific Features of Reluctance Step Motors

The paper compares step motors of various design. It is shown that in a number of parameters (the development specific torque, simplicity and reliability) the reluctance step motors are much superior to those of other design. Further improvements in the performance of the reluctance step motors are proposed.
