The paper presents the application of artificial neural networks for detection of abrupt and incipient fault in solar combisystems. An experimental system, deterministic mathematical model and numerical model were used in the work. The results show that the incorporation of a developed fault detection tool within the solar combisystem raises the performance and reliability of operation.
