Experiment and Exhibition in Lectures on General Chemistry

The article covers specific methodology of General Chemistry Lectures: chemical experiment exhibition. The experiments were demonstrated for large student audiences /100–200/students/ at amphitheatre audiences of the Riga Polytechnical Institute (RPI) Chemistry Department from 1958 until 1988. This work was done by lecturing assistants V. Pokrovskis, E. Mateuss, M. Avota, among others. The article tells about them, because this kind of teaching makes history.
