More than 10 years Europe’s de-carbonization policy has promoted substantial RES investments in energy sector. Many projects have been implemented. Today Europe starts to think whether applied political and financial tools will provide sustainability and competitiveness to energy sector? Many power utility companies and researchers look for answers which led them to a conclusion that renewables are very important sources of energy in future, but there is vital need for the stimulations tools to be revised. Based on existing maturity level and production issues of RES, Europe should keep balancing and base load capacities as one of energy policy’s spotlights
