The majority of failures experienced by users are due to electrical distribution failures. There were power supply reliability and outage costs in 20 kV distribution network evaluated. The paper describes electricity failures’ restoration sequence, duration in a distribution system, frequency of failures and duration for different elements. The developed model of the network and reliability and outage costs calculating algorithm is suitable for multi-criteria analysis of the network. Proposed reliability and outage costs calculation algorithm is based on Monte Carlo simulation and genetic algorithm.
