Single phase Ni and Co ferrite nanopowders were successfully synthesized by the modified co-precipi-tation synthesis method. The average particle size of obtained nanopowders is in the range of 15-50 nm, depending on thermal treatment temperature (TTT). Magnetic saturation values of them depend on TTT (6-40 emu/g for NiFe2O4,15-77 emu/g for NiFe2O4) - close to the values of the standard bulk material.
