The ever-increasing prices for energy resources, as well as global trends for the greenhouse gases emission limitation makes the application of more efficient chillers with process air evaporative cooling more common, even in the temperate climate in Baltics. In order to determine the economical feasibility for choosing the particular type of cooling unit for specific building with sufficient accuracy, many factors should be taken into account, which are not always available for the developers and HVAC designers.
