Textiles with Integrated Sleep-Monitoring Sensors
2016
Anne Schwarz-Pfeiffer, Melanie Hörr, Viktorija Mečņika

Textiles with integrated sleep-monitoring sensors provide valuable information on sleep quality. The chapter first discusses key factors of sleep quality. It then describes sensor principles that can be integrated into textiles to obtain valuable information on our body state and sleeping behaviour. The chapter finally discusses how these principles are adapted into textile-based sleep-monitoring systems.
