Galvanically Isolated MPPT DC/DC Converter for PV System Tied to DC Grid

On the market, there are many DC/AC grid-Tied inverters. It is possible to find standalone inverters, string level DC/AC inverters as well as DC/AC module level microinverters. Much harder to find available on the market DC/DC MPPT converters for 600V DC grid. Especially with galvanic isolation. As the DC micro grid that is built in Riga Technical University the + and-wires not grounded (and can not be grounded) so for safety reasons it is better to isolate galvanically photovoltaic panels from DC grid. For this reason there is designed string level MPPT DC/DC converter. Simulation and some experimental results are shown in the paper below
