Nanocomposite polymer electrolytes based on polyethylene oxide reinforced with nanocellulose whiskers, organic nanoparticles and lithium triflate as potential electrolytes for lithium ion polymer batteries were investigated. This study mainly focuses on the ionic conductance, dynamic mechanical behaviour, dielectric behaviour and thermal properties of electrolytes. The goal is to obtain polymer electrolytes that present acceptable ionic conductivites and high mechanical performance on a large temperature range.
