In this research modification of TiO2 nanopowder with precious metals –gold, platinum, silver and palladium were studied. For TiO2 modification with precious metals chemical deposition method were used. Obtained photocatalysts were with higher photocatalytic activity in UV irradiation with respect to pure TiO2. By increasing the content of platinum in the TiO2 photocatalyst the photocatalytic activity of photocatalyst increases. In case of Au, Ag un Pd, there is no direct correlation between the amount of precious metal the activity of the photocatalyst.
