The use of antifriction additives to oils for impregnating of porous bushings of transports vehicles is one of the ways to combat friction losses. Evaluation of effectiveness of its application requires assessment of the tribological properties of materials and products. Recently existing friction machines allow its testing in air or at elevated temperatures. In this paper is considered the possibility of tribological properties assessment under conditions of low and high temperatures. Experimental studies were carried out on a specially designed and manufactured centrifugal installation with a vertical axis of rotation. The device allows to change rotation speed an carry out necessary tests in various temperature modes.
