Crossroads is the series of course books for advanced learners of Russian who want to take their communication skills to the next level with an emphasis on reading, speaking and vocabulary. The course covers the language skills and vocabulary needed for the major global Russian-language exams, such as A-Level and IB. Each unit includes the list of words with English translations, three texts, exercises, useful phrases and tables that, through comparison with English, will help memorizing high-level vocabulary. The course book can be used to study with a teacher (in a group or individually). The first volume of Crossroads concentrates on the topic of youth culture and concerns. Inside are 7 units that include 21 reading of different length and complexity on topics such as relationship with friends and family, discrimination, fashion, music and more.
