Leo is a chatbot that was successfully developed to support potential new students during the admission process. While developing Leo the authors have concluded that existing publications do not cover the approach of developing virtual assistants or chatbots in organizations in enough details. This paper is aimed to fill-in this gap by describing a systematic approach that was followed by RTU team while developing Leo.
