Membrane extraction of lead(II) from nitric acid solutions during galvanostatic electrodialysis – electrolysis process has been studied. Di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid - based solutions in 1,2-dichloroethane were used as the liquid membranes. The effects of current density, composition of the feed and cathodic solutions, as well as of the liquid membrane composition were studied. Optimal conditions of the process are determined. Matte, smooth and highly adherent lead electrodeposits are obtained from perchloric acid solutions. It is shown that more than 90% of lead(II) an be removed from the feed solution containing 0.01 M Pb(NO3)2 after 4 - 5 h of electrodialysis and the maximum electrodeposition degree amounts to 60 %
