Towards a Single Internal Electricity Market — Progress on the European Union's the Implementation of the Network Codex

In the period 2015 to 2017, three markets for the electricity market were developed and entered into Electricity network codex: a set of rules which, at European level and by regulation, govern the functioning of the electricity market in the European Union's internal electricity market. These market network codex are determined by Procedures for the calculation and allocation of transmission capacity, the operation of the day-ahead and intraday The management of their trade risks and balancing issues, thereby ensuring the ability to market and Across national borders, to develop and strengthen an efficient European single rulebook for Internal electricity market. The authors of this article (2015, 2016 and 2017) have already published insights on the changes that ES Electricity market after approval of new network codex.
