In May 2017, following in-depth research and public consultation with market participants in Estonia, The national regulators of Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden and Poland adopted coordinated decisions not to introduce new long term transmission law auctions at transnational borders in the Baltic market. This means that significant developments in the Baltic electricity financial market model are not expected in the coming years.
