Logistics of People and Information in Employers-Based Virtual Test for University Students

Article discusses logistics around multifunctional and widely reproducible model for testing university student’s practical knowledge and skills, matching them to the labor market needs, contributing to a university business cooperation, providing international outreach, increasing student’s employability, providing quality assurance for curriculum content and more. Authors argue that all these things can be accomplished by a trivial tool – virtual test that is voluntary, cannot be retaken, is highly applicable to the engineering sciences and does not require capital investments. Article describes logistics of people and information within the proposed solution, including virtual and physical conditions, feedback loops, input/output sections and more. Article consists of literature review, expert discussions, model developed by the authors and analysis of previous initiatives in this area.
