With the move towards more environmentally friendly energy supply, the modernization of electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure is becoming a precondition for achieving the European and Latvian climate neutrality milestones by 2030 and beyond. In order for these processes to take place in a mutually coordinated manner, without parallel investments and additional impact on public service tariffs, it is necessary to develop effective and coordinated cooperation between line ministries and electricity supply operators, experts said today at the first energy innovation forum "AC / DC Tech".
