Laila Zemīte is the Vice-Dean for RTU EVIF studies, has a doctorate in energy engineering and is currently working in research and teaching students the basics of power supply. Laila has won the Latvian Academy of Sciences (LAS) Scientist of the Year Award and, together with her colleagues, has developed a study that the LAS has recognized as the most significant achievement of Latvian science in 2018. Laila also has a lot of student support and a pleasant interlocutor on a daily basis, she will be happy to look for new ways to make everyday life at the university more exciting and easier.
