The Doctoral Thesis has been prepared as a collection of seven thematically related scientific publications. As a result of the conducted studies an essential contribution to explanation of polymer material triboelectrification mechanisms has been created by showing the influence of parameters like hardness, elastic modulus, surface roughness, macromolecular ordering, and crosslinking degree. A novel approach to construct high-performance triboelectric generator (TEG) devices utilizing ferroelectric effect synergy with triboelectricity is outlined.
