Effects of the Pandemic on Students’ Performance in Maritime Education

This study presents analyses of students' performance on learning mathematics and statistics during the COVID-19 pandemic at maritime higher education institutions in Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, and Poland. The study discusses (a) overall students’ performance on mathematics and statistics-related courses, (b) evaluation of causes affecting students’ ability to pass exams on related courses, and (c) teaching methods/tools applied to facilitate students’ performance in the studying process during the pandemic.
