Meldrum’s Acid Based Antioxidant Synthesis and Antiradical Activity Evaluation

Our work is focused on carbon-centered 1,3-dicarbonyl type antioxidants, more specifically arylmethyl Meldrum’s acids. Previously we have found that dendrimeric structures containing multiple Meldrum’s acid moieties show consistently high antiradical activity. In this work we have synthesized dendrimers which contain 1,2,3-triazole linkers between the core and surface groups.
