Aim of the research: To create practice-based material and immaterial artworks and prototypes, which can be presented to the viewer as an experience or an example from which to learn, to borrow ideas – changing one's daily habits in areas such as food sustainability and food cultivation. Content of the paper: The study consists of 7 chapters. In the first chapter the use of theoretical and philosophical context for the idea of “deep” sustainability is researched. In the second chapter the slow movement in history and slow media art is analysed. The third chapter presents the theoretical and philosophical context of the art practice-based research methods developed and used in the study. In the fourth chapter the developed used research methodology is presented. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the description, analysis and self-reflection of the works of art, artefacts, art objects and intangible works of art (lectures, master classes) created and presented within the framework of this research. The sixth chapter is devoted to the analysis of the interviews conducted within the framework of the study. In the seventh chapter, ecological art history moments and works of art and approaches of various artists are collected and case studies are carried out. Methods of research: qualitative content analysis, continuous comparative analysis, discursive analysis, phenomenological analysis, open observation, visual methods, remote interview (deep interview), remote focus group, experiments and quasi-experiments (workshops, master classes, prototypes, exhibitions), case and case series analysis (critical case sample).
