This scientific article analyzes the significance of the connection between sustainable education and the economy in Latvia, using an analysis of theoretical sources and expert opinions. The study reveals a paradigm shift in education, moving towards an integrated, problem-oriented approach that supports an ecologically efficient economy. Emphasis is placed on the synergy between education and industry, with particular focus on the role of knowledge-intensive business services in sustainable development. The article offers a new perspective on the interaction between education and the economy, highlighting the need for adaptive lifelong learning to promote sustainable economic development in Latvia.
