The Future of Sustainable Heating: Experts from Eight European Countries Discuss the Possibilities of Implementing Low-Temperature Heating Networks in Valmiera

Rising energy prices, CO₂ emission taxes and aging heating systems make the transformation of the heating and cooling sector inevitable. Continuing with current practices, costs will only increase, which is why new solutions are needed that would promote energy efficiency, reduce emissions and ensure economically sustainable heating supply. These are the issues that Green4HEAT project partners and experts from eight European countries discussed in Valmiera on February 4 and 5, the portal “Valmieras Ziņas” was informed by Dzintars Močs, Public Relations Specialist of the Vidzeme Planning Region.
