The election campaign period began in Latvia on June 4. How will parties compete for voters? RTU has developed the #energovienoti initiative to reduce Latvia's dependence on imported energy resources. A signature drive for a four-day workweek has begun on the portal manabalss.lv. The idea's proponents believe that increased free time will promote employee satisfaction without reducing productivity. Meteorological summer is beginning in Latvia. It begins when the average temperature is at least 15 degrees Celsius for five consecutive days.
