Low-temperature district heating system technologies for the Baltic Sea region (LowTEMP)

In an interview with IESE experts Ieva Pakere and Dagnija Blumberga, the concept of low-temperature district heating (LowTEMP) and its role in increasing energy efficiency are explained. The experts emphasize the need to adapt heating systems to the new dynamics of building energy efficiency, reducing heat loss and integrating sustainable solutions. The interview mentions the technical prerequisites, as well as arguments why it is worth introducing such systems for municipalities to promote the use of renewable energy resources and reduce energy consumption.
