This scientific paper presents a correlation analysis between the observed value of solar flux (measured solar flux) and grounding system resistivity. Parameters of soil resistivity, how its value varies and how factors like temperature, pressure, humidity, precipitation, snow cover and measured solar flux influence whole grounding system. The influence of solar flux was identified to leave hypotheses that may affect to grounding resistivity. Seasonal measurements were conducted using the 3-point method with ground resistivity tester type M416 in March, July, October and January each day during two-year period. The electrical characteristics of the grounding devices of electrical installations do not remain constant throughout the year, but change depending on seasonal changes in the resistivity of the upper layers of the earth. In this regard, the problem of the influence of soil, geological and climatic conditions on the electrical characteristics of electrical installations have been a classic problem for a long time, but has not yet been completely resolved. © 2024 IEEE.
