This paper deals with the aspects of practical implementation of signal spectrum analyzer synthesizer (SANSYN) and the basic notions for orthonormal parametrical Haar like transform called “Rotation Angle Based Haar like Transform” (RA HT). The transform is very perspective for pulse-like signal processing. The presented RA HT device is implemented as Altera’s Cyclone II FPGA. A simplified block diagram and parameters of the SANSYN module are provided. The heart of the module is a two-sample CORDIC rotator. Three versions of the module are reviewed and the version comparison is provided. The versions differ by the number of rotators and speed. The version chosen for further development achieves the trade-off between the performance and the hardware consumption.
