The structure and principles of work of digital relay differ from analog – electromechanical and electrostatistic relay in point of fact. The aim of work is to investigate the methods and ways of synthesis of digital relay. Unfortunately in Latvian the literature about this theme is not therefore I had to review the wide observe of foreign literature, where found the data about structure and principles of digital relay.
